The following guide shows how to install a custom plugin that isn’t listed on the Plugins page.
Note: Use caution when installing plugins. Always make sure you understand the code and/or that it is from a trusted source. AI is not perfect, but you can use it to check if the code is safe and to understand what it does.
Step 1
Log into WordPress Dashboard and select Plugins
Step 2
Click the Add Plugin button, then click the Upload Plugin and browse to and select the zip file you created. Then click Install Now
Note: Your theme dashboard/menus may look different, but the steps should be the same.

STEP 3
Click Activate Plugin.

Step 4
Create a new post or edit a theme and follow the instructions on how to use the plugin.
Step 5
Publish or preview your post/preview your theme to check that it works.
